Applications of Lutetium Metal:
Lutetium is often used as catalysts in petroleum cracking in refineries and used in alkylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization applications. Some lutetium compounds also have specific uses. For example, lutetium tantalate (LuTaO4) is the densest known stable white material (density 9.81 g/cm3) and therefore is widely used in X-ray phosphors.
Packaging of Lutetium Metal (Lu Metal):
Our lutetium metals are clearly tagged and labeled externally to ensure efficient identification and quality control. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation.
