Yttrium Oxide (Y2O3) / Yttria
Yttrium Oxide, also called Yttrium (III) oxide and Yttria, is a white solid substance which is stable in air. High purity Yttrium Oxides are the most important materials for tri-bands Rare Earth phosphors which give the red colour in colour television & computer tubes. In optical industry, the Yttrium Oxide is used to produce Yttrium-Iron-Garnets, which are very effective microwave filters. Low purity of Yttrium Oxide are widely applied in electronic ceramics. It is widely used to make Eu:YVO4 and Eu:Y2O3 phosphors that give the red color in color TV picture tubes. Yttrium Oxide is also used to make Yttrium-Iron-Garnets, which are very effective microwave filters.

Yttrium Oxide Application:
1. Yttrium oxide is used to make yttrium iron garnets and to make the high temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7.
2. Yttrium oxide powder is an important material for inorganic compounds.
3. In addition, Y2O3 is also applied in laser industry.
Packaging of Yttrium Oxide:
Our Yttrium Oxide is clearly tagged and labeled externally to ensure efficient identification and quality control. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation.
