Tungsten Rod

Description of Tungsten Rod:

Purity: W>99.95% (99.98% can also be achieved if special demanded)
Density: >19.0g/cc
Surface: sintering surface, forged surface, ground surface, polished surface
Tungsten rod features high hardness, low mechanical abrasion with smooth surface. Moreover, it is characterized by high temperature resistance and high creep resistance.

Application of Tungsten Rod:

Tungsten rod is used to stretch for making tungsten wire and other shape of products. Besides, it is widely adopted to electrical system, voltage regulator in automobile engine and making electrode, electronic tube, cylinder barrel of advanced automobile and etc.

Surface condition of Tungsten Rod:

Black Surface – Surface is “as swaged” or “as drawn”; retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides.
Cleaned Surface – Surface is chemically cleaned to remove all lubricants and oxides.
Ground Surface – Surface is center-less ground to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.
